From Trichoderma longibrachiatum. Electrophoretically homogeneous (MW 65,000). 
In 3.2M ammonium sulphate.

Specific activity: ~ 0.1 U/mg (40^oC, pH 4.5, CM-cellulose 4M as substrate). Active on p-nitrophenyl-β-lactoside.

Stable at 4^oC for > 4 years.
